Alan

Desinger and Developer of Video Games.

I've always loved video games so I don't know when my passion for them started. I've grown up with them, and them with me. That's why I knew what I wanted to do when I grew up: video games.

That's why I graduated in the Bachelor's Degree of Design and Development of Video Games, to know how that playable magic was able to be made. What I didn't know until I started was if I was going to like programming; I knew I liked art –I've been drawing and painting since I can remember– and thanks to a teacher in high school I started to develop the liking for films and complex narratives, so programing was what I was worried about. However, I discovered a world that fascinated me.

In University I've not only studied, but I also had been part of a student's association that managed to show our games, both university projects and game jams (that were organized twice a year, and I almost always participated). I've also discovered how much I like to put myself in front of a microphone and announce since, with four of my friends, we'd been part of a radio program about video games, talking about news, making essays and analysis.

My interests in this world are many, but narrative, game design and programming are the things I stand out the most, although I have many knowledge of various parts of the development of a video game. Maybe that's because I am a curious person and since I finished my Bachelor's Degree I've been experimenting with new tools to create things, which is at the end the thing that fulfills me the most –create–, always trying to improve myself and my skills step by step and never stopping learning
